811 Water Tank Grant Program Rules

Eligibility

  1. Applicants: Open to all utility companies, municipalities, and private water tank owners.
  2. Tank Requirements: Only above ground and elevated storage tanks are eligible.
  3. Condition: Tanks must be in need of repainting.

Application Process

  1. Application Form: Complete the online application form available on our website.
  2. Supporting Documents: Submit photos of the current condition of the tank and a brief description of why the repainting is needed.
  3. Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 10/1/2025.

Grant Details

  1. Grant Amount: Up to $10,000 per tank.
  2. Use of Funds: Funds must be used exclusively for repainting the tank and incorporating the 811 logo.
  3. Payment: Grant funds will be disbursed upon completion of the project and verification of the 811 logo.

Project Requirements

  1. Design Approval: The design of the 811 logo must be approved by our team before painting begins.
  2. Completion Timeline: Projects must be completed within the year 2025.
  3. Inspection: A final inspection will be conducted to ensure the quality of the work and proper placement of the 811 logo.

Reporting

  1. Completion Report: Submit a completion report with photos of the repainted tank and a summary of the project.
  2. Maintenance: Recipients agree to maintain the 811 logo for a minimum of 8 years.

Promotion

  1. Publicity: Recipients agree to participate in promotional activities, including providing testimonials and allowing the use of photos for marketing purposes.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Compliance: All projects must comply with local regulations and safety standards.
  2. Non-Transferable: Grants are non-transferable and must be used by the applicant who received the award.
  3. Revocation: The grant may be revoked if the project is not completed as agreed or if any terms are violated.
