811 Water Tank Grant Program Rules
Eligibility
Applicants: Open to all utility companies, municipalities, and private water tank owners.
Tank Requirements: Only above ground and elevated storage tanks are eligible.
Condition: Tanks must be in need of repainting.
Application Process
Application Form: Complete the online application form available on our website.
Supporting Documents: Submit photos of the current condition of the tank and a brief description of why the repainting is needed.
Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 10/1/2025.
Grant Details
Grant Amount: Up to $10,000 per tank.
Use of Funds: Funds must be used exclusively for repainting the tank and incorporating the 811 logo.
Payment: Grant funds will be disbursed upon completion of the project and verification of the 811 logo.
Project Requirements
Design Approval: The design of the 811 logo must be approved by our team before painting begins.
Completion Timeline: Projects must be completed within the year 2025.
Inspection: A final inspection will be conducted to ensure the quality of the work and proper placement of the 811 logo.
Reporting
Completion Report: Submit a completion report with photos of the repainted tank and a summary of the project.
Maintenance: Recipients agree to maintain the 811 logo for a minimum of 8 years.
Promotion
Publicity: Recipients agree to participate in promotional activities, including providing testimonials and allowing the use of photos for marketing purposes.
